At two P.M. on 14th December, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department convened the 2nd Session Parent Committee Meeting at the conference room on the first floor of the administrative building. In attendance were Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, Deputy Directors Xu Haihong and Liu Qiongdan as well as all the members of the Parent Committee.
First of all, Deputy Director Xu Haihong introduced the leaders of the Senior High Section, made public the name list of the 2nd Session Parent Committee, issued the appointment letters and announced the official start of the 2nd Session Parent Committee of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Division.
Second of all, Deputy Director Xu Haihong led all the parent committee members to earnestly read and learn the system of the Parent Committee. Meanwhile, he extended an invitation to all the members of the Parent Committee to welcome them to take a positive part in all kinds of education and teaching activities of Anqing Foreign Language School and put forward valuable suggestions.
Third of all, by means of self-recommendation and mutual recommendation, the committee finally elected Zhang Min’s mother--Comrade Liu Meixia the Committee Director, Su Xinquan’s mom--Comrade Hu Xuan and Jiang Xiaolang’s mom--Comrade Liu Meixia Vice Directors of the Parent Committee and Deputy Director Xu Haihong Secretary General.
Fourth of all, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong delivered a keynote speech in which he stressed that the Parent Committee was the link between family and school. Therefore, the committee members were supposed to play an active role and genuinely raise rationalization proposals to Anqing Foreign Language School with a pragmatic attitude to optimize Anqing Foreign Language School’s educational environment and guarantee students’ healthy and happy growth.
To sum up, members of the Parent Committee communicated with each other and shared with the school leadership their own thoughts and feelings, expressing one after another that they would definitely support and assist Anqing Foreign Language School to implement various activities and fulfill the responsibilities of the committee members.
